BET AWARDS 09'

So. . . i haven't really gave my take on the BET awards; so i thought it was finally time to add my two cents 2 things stuck out to me;; && i'm sure ya'll know what they are ;-)

My Favorite performance has to be. . . LETOYA! I gotta to give it to her, vocally she smashed her single "Not Anymore" at the Pre Show. Although I was a little irritated with the fact that they would not put her on the actual show. The entire line-up for the pre show consisted of newbies and her last album debuted at #1 and went gold, she had even preformed at the pre show the year her album was released. Her most recent single is doing so well on billboard, so i'm still trying to figure out, why she didn't make it to the show. Rumor had it that it was because of the infamous Matthew Knowles. . yes he comes up again. . I'm trying to tell you all its something about that man lol but Beyonce' made it her mission to seek out Letoya and let her know that there was no bad blood between them and she is happy for her success. . .hmm okay Bee i hear ya, either way Letoya didn't preform on the awards and Beyonce did, she won anyways!

&&;; now the infamous Beyonce. . . I was completely disappointed. What in the world made her choose to preform "Ave Maria" I mean I truly do not know anyone who actually listens to that track when the play her album. . . and the outfit for the performance?!?!? hunny we know you are married. . . I just didn't get it! I was expecting something so "Sasha Fierce" especially a dope MJ tribute! OMG come on Bee was slipping that night and EVERYBODY knew it! tsk tsk. . . maybe next year ;-)

When I say my girl killed it;; my girl MURDERED it! Keri was amazing! She proved to everyone that she is to be noticed. I still stand by what i said. . . give my girl 1 more year and her sophomore album. . you all are gonna be screaming Beyonce and Rihanna who?!?!? lol ;-)



NE-YO
Can not speak about the BET Awards without mentioning the fact that Ne-yo made his presence known. He performed three times and each time I was floored. He is so talented; and I'M READY for a new album!!!




Not trying to steal any shine from Keyshia Cole; but I'm sorry, Monica did her thing she truly did, when you watch the performance she hits this note and goes and goes and goes and Keyshia has to hit her arm like "okay now, this is my song Monica" (pic below) lol &&;; the entire show everybody was asking monica, when is the next album!? hell I've been ready Mo lets get it! ;-)



Cutest couple?!?!? It has to be Kanye and Amber! Beyonce and Jay Z who?


Now;; just being real; i have to salute a bad bitch and that is exactly what Amber is; she goes hard, && Kudos to you Mr. West I ain't mad at cha lol

Letoya's Sophomore album is set for release on August 25th 2009, With production from Ne-yo to Tank. (OMG she has this song called "regret". . . I'm in love with it ;-)" Second single. . . "She ain't got shit on me" I posted the track last time I posted for you all to get a taste of what she is coming with; but now she has a video to the record, && it is fire!





Trey SongZ new album is set for release August 4th 2009 but he has recently released a mixtape called "Anticipation". O M Gee it goes HARD I'm too excited to see what the album is going to be like. Here is a sample of anticipation, my favorite track titled "It would be" LOVE LOVE LOVE IT ;-)

KELLY ROWLAND FINALLY LEAVES MATTHEW KNOWLES?

Well it is official! Kelly has finally came to her senses and left Matthew Knowles ((Beyonce's Daddy)) as a client! What i wanna know is what caused this to happen all of a sudden?!? Kelly already has 2 albums(( that didn't do so well, although i enjoyed them)) && is now a host of a fashion reality show. Maybe she finally came to the realization that his main interest is his daughter. . you have to admit she is the most successful; and u can say that its because she is the most talented all you want to, something has always been funny to me about their situation, don't be surprised if some years down the line it comes out that she is his biological daughter. . . i mean I'm just saying ;-)

&& Letoya getting ready to drop her 2nd album!!

&& I have been supporting this girl since 2000 when she "left" Destiny's Child, or was kicked out. . ((what ever story you choose to believe)) &&;; I'm excited about this new album titled "Lady Love" you have to admit she does know exactly what to say to us females. . . still haven't received a secure date on when the album will be dropping. . but as always I will be counting down the days ;-) I'm kinda feeling this track "She ain't got shit on me" check it out

She's got that "IT" factor

Well blog world;; its been a hot minute && life has become that roller coaster once again. Sometimes i just sit back and think, "Am I ever suppose to be Happy?" Seriously, AM I? every time I'm almost there, something just comes from the left field and messes EVERYTHING up. I like to think of myself as a pretty decent person, if anyone needs anything, and I have it; i hand it over no questions asked. The biggest thing to me though is TRUST. I live my life by it; and you have my trust until I find out that trust has been betrayed and if that happens; it is very RARE you will have my trust again. . . I just don't understand why everyone wants to get me involved in a lot of negative situations knowing i don't deal with that type of drama AT ALL. I feel as though these social networks that have been developed i.e. myspace and facebook, has made living in this society even more difficult than life prior to their invention. I leave myspace alone; and the drama travels to facebook; will it EVER [B] over. . . i just don't think it ever will be. Lies after Lies;; too many lies i just don't know who or what to believe anymore; especially when I'm in greensboro minding my own, and some way some how "Quiana" randomly pops in some females mouth back in Winston. . what is that? why is that? hell idk. . . I've just come down to the realization that I will be graduating college next may; and this drama started the very night i was packing to leave in the morning to start my Freshman year in college. . . I'M SO OVER IT!

I'm starting to become OBESSSED with twitter! idk why or how bt its interesting to be nosy when it comes to celebrities && even more fun to see how every single one of them intertwine with each other!! lol the celebrity world; is like a big ass highschool; everybody knows everybody. . . they just got $$ to change locations when they want to :D


&& NEW NEW SHIT!!

Soo. . . i blogged a lil while ago about a new girl group name "Electrik Red" ((I like the album!)) Looks like they already got some competition a new 4 girl group by the name "Rich girl" now this girl group was founded by producer Rich Harrison from the DC area. He is known for working with Mya, Amerie's hit single "One Thing" and even Beyonce' "Crazy in Love." Now everyone has been comparing all the aspiring girls groups to Destiny's Child;; && saying who will be the next one. . . I say Rich girl is the perfect contender for the title, unlike Electrik Red; Vocally they are stronger, although the reason I fell in love with Electrik Red is because they are REAL && down to earth almost like a bestfriend you have known for years, not afraid to express themselves; Rich Girl is alot more reserved like Destiny's Child. They have finally released a video called "He ain't with me now (tho)" produced by: Rich Harrison of course. . its a pretty decent track; although i think that they might have to go a little harder on the second single;; Check em out && tell me what you think.

Electrik Red

Sooo.. just in case you haven't been watching 106 & park lately; I have decided to fill you all in. There is a new 4 member girl group called Electrik Red they are proteges of The Dream and their debut album will be released May 26th 2009. Although these girls are just now receiving airplay for their single "So Good" featuring Lil Wayne; blink and miss 106 and park and you miss these lovely ladies.
"So Good" is an excellent track ((lyrically)) and I have no choice but to give them their props; however while doing some research on the group and trying to decide if i want to purchase their album I stumbled across a video on YouTube called "Electric City" as soon as I heard a snippet of the track i was immediately hooked. I'm not only interested in this group because there is a need for a new girl group in the industry but because this girl group is not afraid to curse and seem as though they are your average girls from around the corner and down the street ;-) I have no choice but to introduce you all to this record;; although it will not be on their debut album which I think is a terrible mistake;; this is their $$ maker no doubt Wayne being on this track would have taken these ladies to the next level;; but I have no doubt they will come across another hot track that they will not neglect that will actually take them to the top.

&&;; When life gives you lemons;; make lemonade. My life has been a rollercoaster recently but i have learned ((literally)) my attitude is 98% my fault and i am determined to stay positive. I can not deal with this roommate situation anymore. My roommates act as though they do not know how to clean but in the end ;; i stayed positive and walked in the kitchen last nite and it was cleaned TOP 2 BOTTOM ;-) Pure positivity brings happiness I'm literally starting to believe that. I am placing my happiness above everyone else for i think the first time in my life and I feel great.

On another Note;; I have recently stumbled upon a singer by the name of Dondria and I think she is a wonderful talent ;-) I love Keri Hilson's album's && it is the vocally amazing! Dondria won me over when she literally smashed Keri's Track "Slow Dance" Vocally this track is extremely difficult and she won me over COMPLETELY :D i am a fan;; check her out!
